SMILE
Project
Video by Sonia S., Grade 11 Student
If you were asked to start a project that aims to make people smile, what would you create?
In a year marked by efforts to recover from the challenges of the past 2 years, The Smile Project encouraged ISB students who follow the IB Career Programme in Arts to create a piece of work with one single purpose in mind: making people smile.
Sonia S., Grade 11 Student, found inspiration for her project in a video she had seen on social media. She invited her classmates for a photo shoot, without sharing a lot more information. Once the camera was on, she told them: "The point of this project is to take pictures of things I find beautiful".
Their reactions are captured in this lovely video. Needless to say, it made everyone smile.
The International School of Brussels is a private school founded in 1951 in Brussels for students grades Pre-K to 12. With over 1350 students from 70 countries, it is this diversity that sets us apart and makes ISB a wonderful home for our families.
