Well-being
Welcome to the 7th edition of Learning in Action
Over a year ago, The International School of Brussels, alongside all its stakeholders, came to a shared understanding of our strategic direction. This collaborative work identified the following overarching areas of development: Becoming One School, Challenge, Well-being, and International Citizenship.
Following this direction, in the previous edition of learning in Action we unpacked the concept of Challenge at ISB.
The edition you are about to explore showcases stories that relate to the concept of Well-being and how it occurs in various contexts within the classroom and beyond.
Ensuring that the well-being of all community members is a priority that we commit to in transparent and meaningful ways.
Well-being is an extensive concept. It's about getting to know yourself and how you fall into the world. It's about knowing our strengths and developing them to cope with difficult situations. Or about how we perceive the environment around us and how we manage our time and relationships. There are many areas in life that can support or impact our well-being. The stories you are about to explore are some of the examples of how the ISB community committed to enhancing well-being, in a year followed by so many challenging events around the world.
The International School of Brussels is a private school founded in 1951 in Brussels for students grades Pre-K to 12. With over 1350 students from 70 countries, it is this diversity that sets us apart and makes ISB a wonderful home for our families.
